The state of a point on a routing grid.
Variants§
Available
The grid point is available for routing.
Blocked
The grid point is blocked.
Routed
Fields
The grid point is occupied by a known net.
Reserved
The grid point is reserved for a known net.
This means the net may or may not be physically routed on this grid point, but that no other net can occupy the grid point.
A net can make an interlayer transition if it has reserved grid points adjacent to unaligned transitions.
